As part of our ongoing health and safety protocols, we have encouraged associates to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Associates have been offered a $100 gift card to get fully vaccinated with one of the available vaccines. This decision is increasingly pertinent due to the increase in COVID-19 mutations—including the more contagious Delta variant. We believe getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step in preventing our associates from getting sick with the virus and infecting others.
Earlier this month, the EEOC provided clear guidance that permits employers to offer incentives to employees without violating their rights under the ADA or GINA.
