As part of its annual giving initiative, ASW Global recently donated copies of The Giving Book - Open the Door to a Lifetime of Giving, to local Girl Scout Brownie and Junior troops. The book, written and illustrated by Ellen Sabin, explains philanthropy to children and outlines how they can help out their community by volunteering time and raising money for causes that are important to them.
ASW associates Ellen Wilson and Nicole Stephens distributed copies of the books to Brownie Troop #91516 and Junior Troop #90794 . The books help support Girl Scouts' commitment to giving back to their communities. The Brownies were excited to explore the book. Junior Troop #90794 will use it to help them create a community service action plan.
