Over 40 years ago, ASW Polymer Services began as the Gilchrist Polymer Center. As a long-time, full-service partner to the plastics industry, ASW provides break bulk, transloading, packaging, and storage solutions. Bulk transloading services transfer product from railcar to truck quickly and efficiently. With dedicated and general packaging stations to handle a variety of plastic resins, ASW's flexibility in packaging includes options to directly package from bulk truck or railcar to gaylords, Super Sacks, drums, and 55 lb (25 kg) valve bags amd custom re-pack from bulk to smaller bags (and vice-versa).

ASW has a 172-rail car capacity, with daily switches operated by Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway. Product can be stored in hopper cars for easy transportation when it is needed. Whether in gaylords, FIBC's, drums, valve bags, or other containers, ASW warehouses product safely and efficiently. ASW's transloading, packaging, and warehousing services meet ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards. The company is verified in Responsible Distribution by the Alliance of Chemical Distributors (ACD). As members of Operation Clean Sweep, ASW adheres to safe handling procedures to prevent resin spills and plastics from entering local waterways.
